How can you watch 3D films if you wear eyeglasses?

3d films
Yix asked:

I want to watch Final Destination 3D, but I wear eyeglasses because I’m shortsighted. And don’t you need to wear the red and blue glasses? I can’t wear both at the same time, so how do I get around this?

Thanks.

I think they make the others to fit over yours, though I’ve never tried. I **** 3-D myself!

3D glasses are no longer Red and Blue. They are both the same and you can wear your normal glasses with the 3D glasses.

Contacts or wear both. I’ve worn both before. It isn’t that bad.

They take into consideration that people are going to wear glasses when coming to a 3d movie. You just put them on over your glasses, they are big enough to do so. It doesn’t bother me at all to do so.

The 3D glasses look like a pair of sunglasses now and they are hard plastic not paper. Yes you can wear both. They are not tight fitting glasses,

    Two choices

    1) Wear contacts when you go to the theatre. That should solve it, if you don’t wear contacts your only other option would be

2)Wear the 3/D glasses over your prescription glasses. This may not be comfortable. Try buying a pair of eyeglasses that is smaller and more comfortable (maybe something for sports/recreation/backup pair). It’s always good to have a backup especially if you have a higher RX.
