How to use your blu ray player to access the web without the need of ethernet connection?

My blu ray player is tthe Vizio VBR110 and the only way to get blu ray live or access the net is by ethernet connection meaning that I would have to get a cord and hook it up all the way downstairs to the router is there an alternative way to get access using wireless?
