Isn’t it great that UK schools have to warn pupils before they show Al Gore’s film about Global Warming?
“Schools will have to issue a warning before they show pupils Al Gore’s controversial film about global warming, a judge indicated yesterday.
The move follows a High Court action by a father who accused the Government of ‘brainwashing’ children with propaganda by showing it in the classroom.
Stewart Dimmock said the former U.S. Vice-President’s documentary, An Inconvenient Truth, is unfit for schools because it is politically biased and contains serious scientific inaccuracies and ’sentimental mush’.
He wants the video banned after it was distributed with four other short films to 3,500 schools in February.
Mr Justice Burton is due to deliver a ruling on the case next week, but yesterday he said he would be saying that Gore’s Oscar-winning film does promote ‘partisan political views’.
This means that teachers will have to warn pupils that there are other opinions on global warming and they should not necessarily accept the views of the film.”

What will happen if US schools try the same thing?
Why did the protestors at RNC vandalize the cars & buidlings?
After watching the news films of the Democrats (wearing Obama shirts to identify) protesting in St Paul, I am confused as to the blatant disregard for the law. They fought with the police, broke windows, vandalized cars & even stole - how is this a good political statement.
They were embarrassing to watch - out of control & seemed to feel justified in their behavior. Why??

Where is the outrage from the liberal entertainment industry and news media at the bailout’s added pork? ?
This was an example of business as usual shown by those we have put on the hill. This was an economic bailout to save the country from financial ruin, wasn’t it? What does a maker of wooden arrows, the Exxon Valdez payout, the Puerto Rico and Virgin Island Rum Producers, small and medium size film and TV producers and so on have to do with saving our financial institutes? If this action does not outrage us as a nation to start demanding accountability from our elected officials then we as a nation will continue to be deemed as weak, complacent and ignorant by the world community.

Would you pay to see the Bush death film?
Newmarket Films set itself an unusual challenge when it decided to release the controversial faux investigative documentary “Death of a President” just six weeks after acquiring the movie at the Toronto International Film Festival last month.
But it might face an even more formidable obstacle because several major theater chains are refusing to play the film, which mixes real news footage with dramatized segments depicting the fictional 2007 death of President Bush.
Newmarket, the 12-year-old Los Angeles-based film financing, production and distribution company, plans to open the film October 27, just in time for the November 7 election.
“Yes, it’s controversial,” Newmarket co-founder Chris Ball said. “It’s quite a compelling political thriller. In many ways it is sympathetic to George Bush. It talks about a rush to judgment. In no way is it a call for violence.”
But the country’s largest theater chain, Regal Entertainment Group, has passed on playing the film, citing
I most definitely would not. I wouldn’t go no matter who the President was.
